Prenatal Massage

Prenatal massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue. *We prefer that mama’s be in their second or third trimester before scheduling.

Nicole Bohince,
Owner of Hands on Moxie

Whether you are trying to get back to, or maintain top physical ability, pick the hands the pros use.

The journey toward becoming a massage therapist started out of necessity. As co-owner of Virtus Barbell, one of our goals was to always be a hub for other businesses that benefitted each other, kind of a one stop shop for health and wellness. Our gym members we’re looking for massage therapy that really understood more active, athletic lifestyles. Hands on Moxie was born.

Owner Nicole Bohince graduated from Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy in 2019 and immediately got to work. She opened Hands on Moxie as a sister business to Virtus Barbell and has been full steam ahead ever since. In addition to seeing clients in office, Nicole’s specialty and knowledge in Sports Massage has led to working in the Professional world of Athletics, primarily football.

Sylvia Bedick
Licensed Massage Therapist

Sylvia’s interest in massage came from the spiritual healing experienced from receiving massage herself. That interest prompted the mother of two to enroll in the Pittsburgh School of Massage therapy, where she graduated from in 2019.

Throughout her journey she has discovered the many benefits of massage for the body as well as the souls. Sylvia’s thirst for education in massage allows her to practice all types of modalities including Myofascial, Sports, Trigger Point, and Pregnancy Massage. She is also well versed in the use of hot sticks and stones and cupping. If you just need a great stretch, Sylvia can accommodate that too. Sylvia is looking forward to continuing to learn and grow. She looks forward to expanding her accreditation to bring you things like Shiatsu, Thai Massage and Lymphatic Drainage. Book your appointment today and keep checking back for what Sylvia adds to her toolkit next!

Courtney Lotz
Licensed Massage Therapist

Nice to meet you! Names Courtney!

My massage modalities are unique and rare with a combination of artistic relaxation flow…but firm enough to relieve any issues that are causing you discomfort. Expect to get a relaxing and healing massage all in one. My modalities include Myofascial release, Swedish, Cupping, Hot stone, Aromatherapy, and Reflexology. I’m quite a nerd and always look forward to continuing education — More modalities to be added in the future!

Healing runs in my family as my Grandmother, and Mother were Nurses and my sister is currently a Nurse.

Nursing was never a calling for me, at the time didn’t know what my calling was, until my Mother mentioned Massage therapy. I followed her suggestion and graduated from Pittsburgh of Massage Therapy in 2017.

Clients say I have a very intuitive massage and can hit all the right spots, even though each session is never the same.

I’m a huge animal lover, and plan on getting certified in k-9 and Equine massage. Currently, I volunteer at my local wildlife clinic, and plan on getting my rescue Goldendoodle certified for therapy to visit nursing homes, hospice, and special need facilities.

Hope to see you on my Massage table!

Professional environment and ability to get to the source of an issue. Went to see Nicole for some tightness I was feeling in my back, caused from sitting in my desk chair for long periods of time. Nicolle was able to get me in, help relieve the pain and gave me some stretches I need to be doing every day to help keep my lower back pain free when I’m at the office for long hours.

I have had multiple appointments with Nicole and each time she listens to me and provides exactly what I need. As someone who competes in powerlifting, sometimes my issues require intense and specific attention and the correct treatment is always used. She is easy to schedule with and communicates all options available. She even does massage by the minute so if you don't have time for a full hour you can get in for less time! I highly recommend her services!
